This institute deals with sanitation and water supply in the country. Carlos offered his insight into new plans by the government to improve sanitation and water service. The following is the summary of the interview and Felipe Montoro Jens stance on the topics discussed.

Felipe Montoro Jens says that Edison is right in that the public and private sector should work together to improve the quality of sanitation and water treatment in Brazil. Montoro says that he agrees with Edison that the private sector can improve management, reduce waste and bring new technology to sewage treatment and water treatment. One of the major things that needs to be addressed summarizes Felipe Montoro Jens is the incredible waste of water by state run companies. Bringing private enterprise can greatly curb and even reverse this trend.

One of the biggest reasons why so many state run companies in Brazil lose money is because of great waste. New technology according to relationshipscience.com, greater accountability and new management with the help of the private sector can turn this around. Montoro Jens also says that bringing new capital and investment from the private sector can help to modernize and improve the infrastructure of water and sewer systems in Brazil.
